La Borie du Chevrier

We started the morning with an easy 6 km family walk in the woods, then made the most of the pool. It was sunny enough to enjoy, though we're not bothered by cold water. The place is surrounded by nature and feels peaceful and restorative, and we were able to watch the stars from our very comfortable hut. The weather was perfect for it. This was a retirement gift certificate, and what a lovely idea. The back massage was fantastic! 👍 We really enjoyed the "Lovers' Platter" and breakfast too 😋. Everything seems carefully thought out and made with love, right down to the flavors and little details. We were greeted so warmly. Thank you for keeping the season open for us and giving us this beautiful sunshine ☀️. Such a short, blissful stay. Thank you so much! 👍🤗🙏

The room was spacious and really comfortable, with a little fridge that was handy for keeping water cool before a hike. We loved the homemade breakfast, lots to choose from and all delicious. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool is lovely too. It was so peaceful, and we received a very warm welcome. The surfboards and bowls they offer are delicious.

We were staying in a converted farmhouse surrounded by nature, so the peace and quiet were a real plus. The hostess was charming and attentive, and gave us great advice on history, sightseeing, local life, and good restaurants. She also knows her way around duck foie gras! The house is excellent. Our spacious attic room had a double bed and a single, and it was very comfortable for the two of us. There's an outdoor pool, though we didn't get any sun during our week. Highly recommended.

We had Rafale the cat and a little frog in the shower for company, and the place was wonderfully quiet, far from all the noise. La Borie is tucked away in the countryside and feels like a magical spot to recharge. Lucile and Christine were so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home, and the lovely pool was a great break from the heat. We spent one night at La Hutte aux étoiles (The Hut of Stars), which was a great choice. It's an unusual place to stay, with a panoramic roof for stargazing from bed and cool night air. The bed was very comfortable. We had charcuterie and cheese platters on our private terrace, and the products were excellent. The homemade "royal" breakfast was brought out to the terrace in the morning, a perfect start to the day. A must-do, and we'd go again if we get the chance.
