Melanie made our stay at the Chateau lovely, and helped with restaurant suggestions and arranging a taxi. We especially enjoyed the sweet dog, the amazing home-cooked meals and the private St Emilion tour with Vincent. The spa was perfect. It was a quiet week and we were the only guests, so we enjoyed every second. Worth every euro! Merci beaucoup!

The setting is gorgeous, among rolling hills and vineyards, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It’s only a few kilometers from Saint-Emilion. Our suite was lovely and comfortable, with a private terrace and spa, and the sitting areas felt cozy and intimate. We enjoyed both the indoor pool and spa in the main house and the ones on our terrace. Breakfast was fabulous, with personal touches made just for us. The wines for sale on site were good and reasonably priced. Melanie was a wonderful host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I’d highly recommend this charming place to anyone visiting Saint-Emilion and the surrounding area.

We stopped for one night in winter while driving through, so couldn’t make use of the lovely surroundings. Still, it was a very pleasant stay and just what we needed after a long drive. The dinner was very good, the rooms were lovely, and the owner and dog were both very friendly.

We only wish we’d had more time. The grounds and views are beautiful, the food is great, and the hosts are great too. The amenities are excellent and in great condition. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place to stay while visiting Saint Emilion and the surrounding area.

The pool and grounds are lovely for relaxing or strolling with a drink in the sun, and the rooms and property have beautiful, interesting decor. We stayed at Château du Palanquey for two nights in June and had a fantastic time. Melanie recommended a vineyard tour a 20-minute walk away, and walking through the vines to get there was great. The first evening we had a wonderful platter of meats, cheese and bread. On the second, Melanie and Laurent cooked us an amazing meal. Damn, he knows how to cook duck! The wine list is great, and we tried a stunning bottle of their own Palanquey wine. Meeting Melanie, Laurent, their team and the amazing Maroilles 🐶 was all part of a special stay. We’d definitely recommend it and will be back!
