La Girafe Bleue

There’s plenty to do within half an hour once you’ve had your fill of the garden and pool: a lake, walks, castles, and Bergerac just 15 minutes away. We had a wonderful holiday with our six-year-old and two-year-old. Christine and Pascal welcomed us into their beautiful renovated home, and our bedroom and en-suite were spacious and spotless. They’d thought of the practical things too, with games, a high chair and a travel cot if needed. Breakfast was generous and delicious, served in the lovely tree-filled garden. A big thank you for such a refreshing stay!

The annex was just right for exploring the region at our own pace, with no time pressure. It was well laid out, had its own kitchen and sat right beside the pool. The owners were attentive and welcoming, and gave us great advice. Breakfast was beautifully served, and everything came together for a lovely stay. Definitely a place to keep in mind.

There’s lots nearby to explore, from a castle and cave to a troglodyte house, plus canoeing, cycling and hiking. We had a lovely, restful stay in the countryside. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere friendly, and the room spacious. The decor combines old and new with real taste. A great place to relax and recharge, highly recommended!

We were four Spaniards and were treated really well. The garden is magnificent, there’s a pool, and the location is beautiful with incredible places to visit. Breakfast at dawn was spectacular, just as the sun was starting to rise. We were delighted with everything.
