We skied at St. Foy every day, which was easy to reach, and with the kids taking lessons we stayed there. We could have gone to other resorts from the chalet too. The bedrooms downstairs made the most of those lovely valley views, and the beds were so comfortable you could happily lie back and enjoy them. The chalet was thoughtfully laid out, with loads of space and facilities for two families and four children aged 10 to 14. The kitchen was especially well equipped. We spent a wonderful Christmas and New Year at Chalet Akene. Thank you, Severin, for making us feel so welcome in the chalet and the area, and for coming to see us on Christmas Day. We had the best holiday and hope to return.

Séverin was a lovely host, and he's an excellent high mountain guide. Skiing with him was great fun. The chalet looks out across the valley to breathtaking mountain views. It's beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped, with Ste. Foy especially close by for great off piste skiing. There are plenty of other resorts nearby too. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Séverin knows the area really well and gives good tips on where to ski. He's a very friendly mountain guide. The view down the valley is incredible, and it's a lovely place to stay. I hope to come back!

The setting and house were just what we wanted: a relaxing place to unwind after exploring the surrounding landscape. Even though we booked late, Séverin welcomed us warmly on short notice. A very good guesthouse, just the kind we hoped to find.
