Eden Paradise

The garden was a lovely place to unwind, lush and private, with birds around, and the lodge was spotless and tastefully decorated. Eden Paradise Spa felt special from the first phone call: the man who answered was friendly and informative, welcomed us when we arrived, and gave great service throughout. I had both a massage and brunch. The masseuse was skilled, polite, and warm, and the massage relaxed me so much I even dribbled a little. Brunch looked beautiful and tasted fresh and delicious. I only wished the eggs and bacon had more of a local feel, perhaps a traditional Martinican option. That's a small personal preference. I’d rate Eden Paradise Spa 9/10 and recommend it for a peaceful solo break or romantic retreat in Martinique. It’s owned by Martinicans, and I think supporting local businesses matters when visiting a country whose welcome we’re fortunate to receive. That makes the experience more meaningful for me.

We paid €230 for a room where the jacuzzi didn't work, and nobody gave us proper help to get it running. The front desk woman pushed back and didn't want to refund us, even though the service was nonexistent. Breakfast wasn't homemade either, just industrial food. For that poor quality, why charge so much? On top of everything, the air conditioner faced our bed and blew cold air right at us all night. A complete disaster.

A really relaxing massage, then a super cute pool to enjoy afterward.

I came for a complimentary relaxation day and liked the peaceful surroundings, greenery, sauna, and warm welcome. The meals were the big letdown, though. They're €40 each if you want to eat there, and at that price I expected dishes with more care and flavor. The Colombo chicken was bland, had no sauce, and came with dry rice. Such a disappointment.
