La ferme de la Baconnerie

We hired three of the four cottages along with the reception hall for the whole weekend to celebrate our civil partnership. The enclosed grounds, facilities, hall, and cottages all went down well with everyone. Mr. and Mrs. Plancon were discreet, but ready to help straight away whenever we needed them. We’d happily recommend the place.

The reception hall and the "La Cidrerie" gite made a wonderful setting for our wedding with all our loved ones. The hall has plenty of character and is very well equipped, while the gite was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Our family and friends, as well as us as bride and groom, loved the location and the warm welcome. The other gites were close by, and their guests were very understanding and friendly with us. Thanks again to Mr. & Mrs. Plançon for their trust and for looking after us.

We rented three cottages and the hall for a wedding, and the setting was lovely, with lots of greenery and space, and clearly thought out with children in mind. It was great to have everyone sleeping on site without needing a car, and all the cottages were very well equipped. The on-site staff were welcoming, and it was easy to get a quick reply from the owner by email, phone, or text. A few practical things could be better: the built-in dishwasher isn’t properly integrated into the hall and tips forward when opened, the oven tray doesn’t fit in the oven, and there isn’t a large enough fridge for catering dishes. We ended up renting a refrigerated truck. Still, those are small issues alongside everything else the venue offers. I’ll definitely come back :-)

We had a really lovely family weekend, then spent three days with our grandchildren at the La Laiterie cottage. It’s roomy and comfortable, with great bedding, and well set up for babies with everything provided. Out in the countryside, the little ones had a great time playing outdoors and enjoyed the beaches, Cerisy forest, and marshes. We recommend this group of cottages.
