VVF Villages « Île de Ré les dunes » Ste-Marie-De-Re

There was lots to do together as a family, with board games available on site, plus table tennis and equipment rental. We could reach the beach in under two minutes on foot, and the accommodations were spacious. The staff welcomed us warmly, and we really appreciated the peace and quiet.

The location is handy, right by a pretty beach and a short walk from a square with a bakery, newsagent/tobacconist, and wine shop. The accommodation has everything you need and is perfectly adequate, though a little updating would be welcome. It gets quite dark after dark, with too little light in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bedding is fine, apart from the very strange pillows with plastic exteriors.

The location is ideal, beside the beach and close to the village center. The accommodations were clean and well maintained, with really good-quality bedding. The team was great, kind, helpful, and always available. It has a family atmosphere, too. We left behind a pair of glasses and a checkbook, and they sent everything back by parcel within the week. Wonderful!
