The room was spacious, with shutters on the windows, and the host greeted us so kindly. She’d baked a cake and left cheese and cider for us, more generous than anyone could expect. The beach is just a 2 min walk along a private path. The house is also in a private location, which made me feel safe as a woman travelling alone. Perfect location and a lovely host.

We stayed from February 27 to March 2, 2021, and had a very pleasant visit. The cottage is bright, beautiful, practical, and tastefully decorated, with a warm welcome and thoughtful touches. Utah Beach is just 50 meters away. There are walks, historical tours, and regional specialties to enjoy nearby.

The cottage was extremely clean, cozy, and just as described. Mrs. Carbonnel was kind and had thought of everything, so you only need to bring your belongings. There’s a short path to the beach, about a 1-minute walk, and plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We had an unforgettable family weekend in Utah and will definitely return, there’s still so much to discover. Magnificent cottage!

Just steps from a fantastic beach beyond the dunes and very close to the memorial, this is a beautiful gîte. The decor is lovely. Beautiful, wonderful.

The owners gave us a warm welcome. This very pleasant gîte has a lovely living room that’s been renovated really well. Another round of work is planned to make the sleeping area nicer.
