We stayed two days ago. Watch out for the cactus leaves, they’re very sharp and draw blood if you brush against them. The garden hadn’t been weeded all year, and there were leaves on all the chairs. We were the only guests, and the meal really wasn’t much good. The barman was pleasant, but the hotel room smelled musty and decayed, like it hadn’t been aired. The modern bathroom was a welcome addition.
A lovely stop on the way to Belgium. The host was pleasant and funny, and we had tasty dinner and breakfast in a beautiful, authentic building. Our room was spacious, with a good bed and a large bathroom fitted with both a shower and a bathtub.
The restaurant was very good, with a lovely dining room, and the staff were pleasant. Our room and bathroom were both spacious and well equipped. The garden and terrace were poorly kept, which was a shame since they could be lovely, and not what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Booking.com advertised a vintage car collection, but there isn’t one, and that listing hasn’t been updated in over 10 years!
We had great food and a charming hotelier. The weather was awful during our stay, so we didn’t get to see whether the courtyard was as lovely as it looked. Our room was large, with big opening windows and a large smart TV. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Conveniently close to the Peage.
The restaurant menu is small, but the food is excellent, and the hotel offers very good value for money. I was there off-season, and the garden could have used a little more care. Still, it was a pleasant stay.
