It’s a lovely family house, but the state of upkeep was a real disappointment. Several things were worn or broken and hadn’t been replaced, so it needs attention, at the very least some new equipment. For the price, I expected a basic level of maintenance and oversight. The house has potential, but the care feels inconsistent, and it’s a shame. The cleaning was superficial when we arrived: dirty dishes, socks in the living room, mold in the shower, and bathroom windows that were dirty. Some advertised equipment was also missing or unusable. Only five of the 12 pool loungers could be used, and two of those were wooden with no cushions. There were no pool parasols, and the TV didn’t work. The barbecue, ping-pong table, and pétanque set listed in the offer weren’t there either. It gave me the impression that the owners weren’t prepared to provide what they advertised, which I found dishonest.

We had a wonderful week in this spacious, welcoming Provençal villa. The terrace was perfect for family aperitifs, with a breathtaking view of the golf course.
