La villa Roméo - Piscine & Spa

Being able to walk down to the beach was great, even with the house sitting a little uphill. At the coast there’s a choice of sand or, a little to the left, a beach with rocks. Back at the house, it was quiet, with no neighbours close by and a nice view of the mountains and some houses. Eric and his lovely family made us feel welcome from the start. He sent clear directions, and their apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the big windows and doors that open in every room. Outside electric blinds make the rooms completely dark, which was great for sleep. We slept until 10pm 😅 We liked having the choice of a glass of wine and a tan in our own lounge chair by the house, where the kids could play around the yard, or one of the many poolside loungers in sun or shade. The pool is very instagramable 😂 They also had floats and kids’ toys, plus a big ping pong table by the pool. There were books and games for adults and children in the laundry room. You can rent bycicles from them or get breakfast, though I can’t remember the prices. It’s written in the little book on the table. Their Instagram shows how much they do themselves, including the renovations. You can tell they love their little oasis. We told Eric we’d come back, and he said to just give him a call 😊

We had such a good time that we managed to add two days to our stay, and still wished we could have stayed longer. Eric and Stéphanie were warm, helpful, spontaneous, and easy to talk to. The place is clean, well looked after, and wonderfully peaceful. We’re sure to come back. This is what a vacation should feel like.

Eric was always around with useful tips on things to do and the wider area. We arrived late for check-in on our first evening, but he still made us feel welcome. The location is very quiet, in a lovely residential neighbourhood, with lots of nice spots to relax and spend time with family.

We had four different families together for a week in the sunshine, and the location worked perfectly. The walk into town is short and pleasant, with loads of restaurants. Eric was a fabulous host and arranged transfers and activities for us. The villa and pool were amazing for our friends and family. 10 out of 10 for Eric and his Villa.
