The country house is gorgeous, with plenty of rural charm despite being not far from chic St tropez. The owners of this charming chambre d'hotes have thought through every detail. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and super romantic, just right for a weekend break. There’s a pool and lots of wooded land too. Breakfast was the one weak spot. It was good, but there wasn’t much variety. I would’ve liked something savory alongside the delicious croissants, and maybe some fruit.

Everything feels so thoughtfully cared for, from the spotless rooms to the calm setting. At Bastidon Saint Michel, the hosts are warm and considerate, giving you space while staying easy to reach whenever you need them. It felt like home, only more relaxing. Thanks for such a lovely break. I’ll definitely return.

The pool is lovely, and the rooms are charming and kept in great shape. We also got really helpful tips for exploring the area, which led us to some lovely experiences. Both hosts are welcoming and attentive, while knowing when to give quieter guests their space. A refreshing stay. Thank you both :)

For an authentic, natural taste of Provence, Bastidon Saint Michel is a lovely find. Elisabeth and Bernand made us feel welcome from the start. A wonderful spot in the heart of Provence.

We booked by calling directly, and they gave me helpful advice on how to make the reservation. My French is very limited, but we managed to understand each other. My husband and I spent a short weekend there in September, in the largest room, which was lovely and welcoming. They let my dog stay at no extra charge, and we even had time for a quick swim. The summer weather was still with us, and the price was very good for what we got.
