We’ve visited Sainte-maxime over the last four years and stayed at Villa Romuald three times, in both the studios and the duplex house. We’ve loved it every time. The accommodation has what you need, everything works, and the location is perfect. From the duplex, the view is stunning. The owner and agency are easy to reach and helpful whenever we’ve needed anything. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We’ve been coming to Sainte Maxime for four years, and Villa Romuald is where we stay each time. The Vila apartment has everything a house needs, plus an amazing view of the gulf. It’s a lovely place, 10/10, and we’ll keep coming back.

March-April 2025 The house and its rental units sit up on the heights of Sainte-Maxime, away from the chaotic center and the constant stop-and-go traffic on the D559. Indoor parking is available for an extra fee. The agency and owner were attentive, though I had to collect the keys from a safe at the agency and return them there too. There’s a short-term parking spot outside the agency that can be handy. I stayed in the Lavender studio, where storage space is limited, so bring jars for food. Ants can be a problem in season. One small drawback was the paper towel holder beside the sink, which didn’t seem hygienic. The lovely golf course view is only from the main house. The bedding was very comfortable, the furniture on the terrace was good quality, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking different meals. My deposit was returned without any trouble after a few days. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it.
