Le Lavoir Des Capucins (Adults Only)

We booked directly with Anne, and communication was terrific. She’s a lovely, welcoming hostess. Our family spent a week here in two rooms and couldn’t have been more satisfied. Everything is aesthetically beautiful, spotlessly clean, and quiet. We plan to return to Sainte-Menehould and Le Lavoir des Capucins.

The breakfast was generous, varied, and absolutely delicious. Our hostess gave us such a warm welcome, was helpful, and shared invaluable advice. The guesthouse was a delightful surprise, with beautiful rooms and an immediate charm in all the details. We wished we could have tried them all! The decor is tasteful, the place impeccably clean, and the atmosphere warm. Our hostess has a real eye for detail and is genuinely attentive. A true gem to treasure, or perhaps discreetly recommend only to close friends.

The breakfasts were delicious, with lots of choice and homemade products. Le Lavoir des Capucins is in the center of Sainte-Menehould, on a very quiet street. It’s a lovely place with beautiful decor, comfortable bedding, and a comfortable bathroom. The welcome was so warm. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Breakfast is typically French, with sweet options and homemade products. There’s parking on the quiet street, and our bikes were kept safely in the garage. The spacious room, large bathroom, and thoughtful details made for a touch of luxury: cotton pads, thick towels, bedding, pillows in different sizes, high-quality tea, and lovely scented bathroom amenities. The whole space is tastefully designed. Anyone who cares about quality and details will feel wonderful here. One of the most well-deserved five-star hotels. Highly recommended.
