We got there just after they had stopped serving, but they let us stay anyway. Glad they did, the pizzas were delicious and cooked properly in the pizza oven.

We ate here on two nights. The set meal for 20 euros was fine after a long day on the road. The next evening we ordered from the menu: a great ham and cheese omelette, cooked just right, and lovely trout. A pitcher of house white was only 5 euros. Very welcoming, really reasonable, couldn't fault it 👍👍

Dinner was okay, but I ordered the entrecote with fries, the priciest dish on the menu, and was surprised to get fries that seemed previously frozen. At another table, some local diners had nice thick-cut fries. Are tourists being served one kind while locals get another? That's a no from me.

We stopped for a lovely lunch on the way to Sarlat. Service was quick and the portions were huge. The omelette comes with chips, so there's no need to order another plate!

The portions were generous and the price was great. The steak might not have been the best cut, but for what it cost, it was fantastic.
