There’s so much to enjoy around the cottage: forest walks to beautiful waterfalls, cultural visits, or simply relaxing by the pool. I loved the view of the surrounding nature. The wooden cottage is lovely and comfortable, with a warm feel, and being surrounded by nature made the stay so peaceful and relaxing. It’s a perfect place to unwind. I hope I can come back soon!

Jean-Luc, the owner, was helpful and shared his passion for his roots. He built everything entirely by hand, which deserves a special mention. These wooden Creole cottages sit in nature and are fully furnished and equipped. We had a very pleasant stay at Gîte du Cocon, and our grandchildren loved it. I don’t understand the very negative review posted a few months ago. I recommend it 100%.

The owner welcomed us so warmly and was very kind, which deserves a big thank you. We had a superb stay in comfortable accommodation with a terrace and swimming pool, set in a magnificent natural setting. It’s ideal for hiking or visiting the Grand Cul de sac marin. We recommend it!

Our worst rental experience in Guadeloupe by far. The owner was unpleasant throughout our stay. He came and went whenever he wanted, didn’t say hello, and insulted us because we’d forgotten to switch off a light, among other things. Avoid this place if you want a good vacation.

I picked this cottage for its natural surroundings and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a very pleasant, peaceful place, and the owner is kind and available if you have a problem or just feel like chatting.
