Les Villas Mandju

The pool and outdoor kitchen made it easy to relax and have a barbecue together, and the whole setting was peaceful, a lovely way to enjoy the island. Villas Mandju was spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped. Sinthia had prepared fresh local fruit and a delicious planter's punch for our arrival, such a warm welcome. Everything came together for an unforgettable holiday. We'd happily return for another stay in Guadeloupe and wholeheartedly recommend Villas Mandju. Thanks again for a wonderful experience. The two bedrooms are bright and have air conditioning, and the kitchen is practical and well equipped. We spent 7 nights at Villa Papaya and had everything we needed for a pleasant holiday. Outside, there's a lovely little pool, plus a spacious area with a hammock, garden furniture, a summer kitchen, and a barbecue. The villa sits at the end of a cul-de-sac, so traffic from the main road is barely audible. Two beaches and two shops are about a 5-minute drive away, and you can park in the courtyard behind an electric gate.

Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a treat, with views over the pool and fields and a beautifully cared-for tropical garden all around. We stayed as a family in Villa Papaya at Villas Mandju, a real peaceful retreat, thoughtfully laid out and tastefully decorated. The location is great too, about 10 minutes from the port of Sainte-Rose. It was simply perfect.

The location is fantastic, and getting in and out was super easy. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Papaya. The house is clean and really well looked after. One downside, especially if you're there as a couple, is the lack of privacy around the pool and outdoor lounge. They're visible from the neighboring villa, whether someone is walking past or peeking through a gap in the hedge. A hedge or wooden fence would make a big difference.
