We had a lovely stay at Les Flamands and hope to come back. The studio was spacious and very clean, with a nice terrace for lunch, and it’s a ten-minute walk from the town centre. Parking was easy. We especially enjoyed the quiet and the wonderful view across the pond, with flamingos, egrets, and bulls in the distance. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and gave us great tips on places to see and restaurants. Breakfast was a little basic and could have used some fruit and yogurt. The outdoor stairs are steep, so they wouldn’t suit someone with reduced mobility.

A quiet, clean, well-equipped little apartment in a convenient spot. Shops are nearby, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the town centre. There are parking spaces close to the property. The owners are charming and friendly, and we had a perfect stay. June isn’t ideal for bird photography, although you can still see some birds at the bird park.

The house was spotless, and the owners were kind, but I was a little disappointed by the arrangement. We expected breakfast to be served as it would be at a B&B, but although fresh bread and croissants were left for us, we had to prepare everything and wash the dishes ourselves. I think sharing breakfast could have been a nice chance to spend time with the owners, and that didn’t happen. We rented both rooms and shared a bathroom, so I’d expected a discount. For the services provided, it felt a bit expensive. We’ve stayed in many B&Bs, and this felt more like renting the upper floor of a house.

The room looked out over a pond full of flamingos and other birds, and the house was peaceful and well situated, about a ten-minute walk from the town centre. Serge and Réjane welcomed us very warmly.
