Logis Jum'Hotel

Breakfast was very basic, and there weren’t any forks for the bread spreads, so you had to use your hands. The shower was good, but there weren’t enough towels. Our small superior room smelled of dirty laundry, though the bedding looked clean. The pillows were lumpy and cheap, the old duvet covers were nylon seersucker, and the mattress was nasty. It makes me wonder how small the standard room is. The bedding was awful. The connecting room next door had a door between the rooms, and a small hallway in front of both that could be closed off. The bedroom door to the hallway and bathroom could also be shut. With nobody next to us, it was very quiet. There’s no lift. Parking was good, but when we arrived it was icy and dangerous. Hotel staff didn’t make any effort to make it safer, such as putting down salt, while the restaurant next door did. The receptionist also didn’t make the reservation we asked for at that restaurant, which was nice, by the way. We won’t return. If you do stay, book the superior room at least. Three-star hotel? Hmm.

It’s a fine place to sleep near the highway during a long trip. The bathroom was quite good, and the staff and breakfast were okay, though neither stood out. The rooms felt dated, dull and unattractive. The hotel seemed focused mainly on function, and it showed.

A good overnight stop on the way to the Alps. The room was a little small, but the bed was comfortable and the facilities were good.

The Atelier Grill was very good, with fresh food, regional specialties and efficient service even while busy. My steak was cooked exactly as requested. The hotel room was clean and quiet, and parking was convenient with plenty of spaces. I’d rate the hotel 3 stars because they charged €10 to use their Tesla Destination Charger, and only one of the three chargers was working for our Tesla. Destination Chargers are almost always free elsewhere.
