Aude's place is magical and dreamy, and so beautifully cared for. It has a unique history and a breathtaking landscape, and I don't think I'll forget this stay. Getting there was fine for us with Aude's directions, despite some people mentioning difficult access. This is my second year at Hôtes de Montboulan, and I can see it becoming an annual tradition. Thanks for having us, I'll be thinking about it all year 🥰.

Leaving Hôtes de Montboulan along that long, winding track through wild nature made us wish we'd stayed longer. The house and setting are amazing. There may be a few quirks with the rooms and bathrooms, but perfect isn't everything. Aude has her own way of running the place: she's engaging and informative when you need her, then almost invisible if you want your own space. We'll definitely try to visit again and stay longer.

We loved the location, a castle in the woods, and had a very pleasant stay at Hotes de Monteboulan. The owner was a sweet, special woman, very kind and polite. Dogs are welcome, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. We couldn't find anything negative; everything was perfect!

The delicious breakfast sent us home full of inspiration. We also loved hearing about the family history and seeing it reflected in the house. The hostess was fantastic when we got a flat tire. The house and rooms are stylishly decorated, and she's wonderfully friendly. After the long unpaved road, we arrived at a beautifully situated country house. Highly recommended, we'll definitely return when we're nearby. Next time we'll have dinner there too, as it smelled wonderful.
