Villa Lei Rigau

I was able to keep the room in the morning so I could get some work done, which was a real help. The hosts were lovely, and the room had great bedding and a really good bathroom. Heating and air conditioning were there too. The welcome was genuinely warm, and getting in on my own was easy. I'll be back during the year to see our client on site.

The pool was great to come back to after our day trips, and the place was well located for exploring by motorbike. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and our room had lovely furnishings. There was a coffee machine and kettle, plus a small fridge in the bathroom, which was separate from the toilet. We had lots of laughs with our hosts at breakfast and in the evenings. Our hostess spoke excellent German, and when something wasn't clear, an app helped. She also shared some great sightseeing tips. We were welcomed so warmly, and it ended up being the best holiday we've ever had. Everything felt just right. We hope to see you again!

Breakfast beside the pool was excellent, with lots to choose from, and the rooms were top-notch. Danielle and Francis gave us a very warm welcome and were happy to chat. They also offered advice on places to visit in the region. My wife and I are grateful for such a lovely stay, and we look forward to seeing them again. All the best to them.

The set menu was the biggest letdown. At €35, it came without an aperitif, with a canteen-style starter of green salad, radish slices, and half a hard-boiled egg. The main course was fine but served rather stingily, and dessert was tiny. There was no wine choice, just a mediocre rosé, poured in thankfully small amounts. It fell well short of the quality the hosts had led us to expect. The room itself was nice, though a bit overpriced, and freezing when we arrived, despite the deliberately warm welcome. Breakfast was adequate.
