Sitting in the garden with a glass of wine and a platter of tasty cheese and meats, looking out over the vineyards, was such a lovely way to spend the day. We chose that option after a little tour and a tasting of some delicious wines at the Château. If you’re in the area, I’d say the tasting is a must. Thanks to everyone at Château La Villatade for a wonderful experience!
It’s so quiet here that you can tune out the noise of everyday life. Fresh air, soft natural light, gentle sounds in the background, and the harmonious design all add to the calm. The whole place feels warm and peaceful, a lovely setting to slow down, breathe, reflect, and enjoy the moment.
The wines we sampled were all delicious, and the tasting itself was really nice. The guide also shared lots of detailed, interesting information about the wine production and the history of the place. The Château is beautiful, too. A really worthwhile experience. Merci!
Sophie was a gracious host and knew a lot about the wines and the care that goes into making them. The tour was brilliant and had a unique feel, and trying the different wines was a treat. We also loved the charcuterie board. My friend and I had a wonderful time, and Max the dog was a friendly, lovely addition to the tour. A must-visit when travelling in the region!
Maxence led a lovely wine tasting and was really knowledgeable and interesting. We also had a light lunch in beautiful surroundings. A delightful visit, highly recommended.
