L Oustal

We spent 15 days here in August with friends and really enjoyed this holiday village. The rooms were comfortable, the setting was well maintained, and the food was generous and varied. The coffee was just average, but that's a small thing. Staff were helpful and professional, and there were lovely supervised hikes and plenty of daytime activities. It was a shame there wasn't evening entertainment. Good value for money, and we'll definitely return.

We came away with great memories of a very good holiday in a friendly, family-style atmosphere. After several stays at Cap France places, we found that L'Oustal ticked every box. The room was pleasant, with excellent bedding, and the food was varied, simple, and good. Sonia gave us an especially warm welcome and was always looking for ways to help and find straightforward solutions. There were lots of activities on offer, including hikes, visits, aqua gym, pilates, electric bikes, aqua hikes, and caving. The activity staff, bar team, and guide gael were all very involved. We'll be sure to tell people about you.

The area is beautiful, with lovely villages to visit, and the food was excellent, made with fresh, high-quality products. The service and catering teams deserve credit. There are spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and everything you need, plus a hikers' corner with a fridge and freezer. The evening entertainment was top-notch too. What really made L'Oustal special for us was how committed and cheerful the activity team was with both adults and children. There are activities like caving, via ferrata, aqua trekking, electric bike rides, electric mountain biking, hiking, and Nordic walking for adults, and treetop courses, mini quad biking, and motorcycling for kids, all at no extra cost. Having stayed at more than 10-15 Cap France resorts, we think L'Oustal is the best in every way. We first loved it four years ago and came back this year. The previous manager has retired, but the new manager is fantastic and just as committed. We wish we'd booked two weeks instead of one. We'll come back, though perhaps not in another four years. If you want a fantastic holiday, L'Oustal is a sure bet and probably one of the best Cap France properties. Thanks again!

We had a great summer week in Aveyron, with an activities program we really enjoyed. There were hikes and excursions, a canoe trip on the Lot River, and rides through the countryside on electric bikes. The meals were excellent, and the activity leaders, restaurant staff, and supervisors were all friendly, smiling, and helpful. You can also charge your electric car for free.
