Grand Hôtel De La Poste

The room has a lovely view of the cathedral, and the whole place is quiet so far. It's clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The owners and staff have a great eye for color and design, with art, books, and even musical instruments in the lower salon. The gentlemen at check-in were patient, polite, and helpful, showing us options around town. There are stairs and no elevator, but one of them kindly carried our luggage upstairs. We're very happy with the hotel. Thank you!

The location puts you right in the heart of the city, and there's a lovely park with a playground directly behind the hotel. It felt safe and convenient for parents. My daughters and I spent hours walking around, then came back midday to the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Thank you, Anais. Our family of four, including a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old, has just finished a five-night stay. Everyone was kind and helpful. This place is a gem, full of history and charm. The hotel is centrally located, and staff are polite and efficient. They speak English and Spanish, and guests can keep their food in a fridge in the kitchen. The facilities feel run-down, though, with spiderwebs and an old carpeted staircase. There’s no elevator or public bathroom.

This family-run hotel is right in the heart of Salon. The staff were fantastic, especially Laurienne, and were patient with our attempts to speak French. The stairs lead up to the rooms, but the overlook onto the town square is wonderful. We liked the amenities, and the bed was just right for dozing. A clear five stars.
