I came back to this Ibis for a second visit, partly because the reception staff are so pleasant. This time, though, the double room felt a bit cramped for two adults and two small dogs. The shower and the air conditioning both need an urgent update. Also check whether a group is booked for dinner, since the restaurant closes to other guests when one is expected. The restaurant manager and chef seemed to struggle with the pressure.

Breakfast was fine, but the night was uncomfortable: the extra bed had two broken slats in the middle of its frame, so our child ended up in our bed, where there wasn't much room. We noticed the problem just before bedtime and didn't contact reception. From our earlier dealings with the staff, we expected fixing it might take a long time and be uncertain. There was no soap in the bathroom when we arrived. The staff spoke broken English. We could see they were trying, but as repeat customers in the Accor network, we feel a certain level of English proficiency should be expected nowadays, especially with so many guests coming from abroad.

The location was amazing, with a pool and a comfortable area to hang out. I stayed for four days. The room had a desk and a window, and the air conditioning worked really well. The bed was comfortable, though I expected the bathroom to be much bigger after seeing the hotel's photos. Service was good for a three-star hotel: they fixed my card when it stopped working two or three times, cleaned the room really well, and brought me more water when I needed it.
