Monte Alta

The garden and pool were our favorite part. We swam during warm evenings, then enjoyed a glass of rose in the garden later at night. We spent a week here in June, and the place exceeded all our expectations. It’s a peaceful, elegant little oasis in the middle of picturesque Salon de Provence, and descriptions don’t really do it justice. Benedict and Damien were great hosts. They made us feel welcome, upgraded us to a lovely room, helped with information and calls to local taxis when we had to change our travel plans, and suggested good excursion spots and restaurants in town. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Free guarded parking was a plus. We can’t wait to return! Terpsi & Johan

The garden was lovely, and although the pool looked great, the water was too cold for me to use. This nice house has been converted into a five-bedroom hotel run by a friendly French couple. It was apparently full, but we didn’t notice. The decor is cool and well organized, like the owners had traveled the world and brought back bits from everywhere. Our room was very clean, the bed super comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were amazing. Breakfast was simple but tasty. It’s a 15-minute walk to the town center and local attractions. A great experience, short and sweet. I even forgot my charger and they lent me theirs.

Breakfast had just what we needed to get the day going, and the rooms were great. Benedicte and Damien made us feel at home with how friendly, kind, and helpful they were. It's about a five-minute walk to the city center, a handy base for exploring Provence. We had an amazing stay, and we'd choose this place again whenever we're back in the area.

Restaurants and bars are an easy walk away. It was just the place to unwind after a stressful day at work, and the exceptionally nice hosts made sure we wanted for nothing. Definitely a little hideaway.
