That quiet streamside garden was such a lovely place to unwind, with tucked-away spots to sit and listen to the water. We arrived after a long day on the road, tired, hungry, and without a reservation, but Patrick welcomed us so warmly, even though it was already dark. The old house has a cosy, quirky charm, and Salviac is a peaceful base, with charming villages and hamlets only a short drive away. The garden is beautiful, and the decor is eclectic but still practical. Our host was welcoming and friendly, and clearly puts a lot of effort into making guests comfortable.

We had a comfortable, spacious room and a lovely breakfast at this charming chambre d'hotes. Our two hosts were delightful and very helpful. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The owners have brought their own touches to this lovely old property since taking it over in 2019. It's in a medieval village, and they make you feel right at home. A really good chambres d'hote (B&B), definitely recommended.

Heather and Barry were so helpful when we found the place late in the day. After a long, hot drive, the pool was just what we needed. The house is spotless, and breakfast the next morning was simple and delicious.
