The apartment is badly run-down, and it hadn’t been cleaned between rentals. The bathroom was a disaster: with the red tap fully open, hot water took 20 minutes to arrive. There’s no maintenance outside, and the pool photo on Booking.com is misleading. The one plus is that it’s close to the center.

The pool was pleasant, though getting in is awkward because its ladder has only three very small steps. The owner was nowhere to be seen unless you called him. In the first bedroom, the bed was too soft and creaked whenever I moved; the bathtub was too high and small to get into, and the television didn’t work. It was too hot in there, with no air conditioning. The second bedroom was a little better, but its television didn’t work either. There was still no air conditioning, and the heat was unbearable even with the shutters closed all day.

The welcome was very good, and the bedding was fine. The parking was convenient too. Still, for the price, the rest was disappointing. Breakfast is only available at a café, but you’ll need to get croissants from a bakery because the café doesn’t sell them. The room felt too small, and there was noise from outside. The shower area was cramped, especially for tall people.

The only real plus is the location. Housekeeping was appalling, there was no hot water in the bathroom, and everything felt badly outdated. There’s no soundproofing, and the outside areas aren’t maintained. That’s only the beginning.
