Ferme Du Ciel Mini-hotel

The food was so good that someone in our group asked for a recipe after nearly every meal. Alex and Lucy are clearly gifted cooks. They and their little boy Nate were the highlight of our early January stay at Ferme du Ciel with friends and family, nine adults in all. The weather and slopes were amazing, and the chalet itself was incredible, like something from a movie. What made it special, though, was the homely feel and all the care Alex and Lucy put into the details. I worried that not being ski-in/ski-out would make getting to the slopes difficult, but it was easy. They drove us when it suited us and collected people at different times, even when our group finished at several different times. One morning we persuaded them to ski with us. After lessons, Alex basically became an on-mountain instructor and guide for the beginners, which was a lovely extra. This was one of the most luxurious, relaxing, and friendly holidays most of us have had. I can't thank them enough, and we'll definitely return. I'd recommend Ferme du Ciel to anyone wanting a luxury ski trip. I also want to thank them especially for looking after my wife, Diane. She was seven months pregnant and couldn't ski, and they went above and beyond to make sure she had what she needed. She felt really cared for, and they made the trip magical for her.

Lucie and Alex were so helpful and easy to communicate with while organising our micro wedding at Ferme du Ciel. The mountain setting couldn't have been more beautiful for it. We stayed with our large family group and loved the chalet: it's gorgeous, very comfortable, and spacious enough for everyone. The views and wonderful hosts made it a great mix for a family holiday or a special celebration. We'd absolutely recommend it.

They also seemed like some of the coolest people alive during our fairly short stay. Alex and Lucie are consummate professionals, and I can't find enough superlatives for the venue, atmosphere, and flawless way they handled our wedding. They made everything very easy for us, and we're grateful and lucky to have found them.

Alex and Lucie were kind, made us delicious meals and snacks, gave generous portions of food and wine, and adjusted the menu to our requests. Our group was eight adults and seven children aged 2-7, and we had an amazing time in this beautiful chalet. It was immaculately clean, with lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay better. The chalet is in a charming hamlet about a 10-minute drive from the main gondolas. That wasn't a problem, since Alex was happy to take us around in the minibus when we needed it. This was the best chalet experience I've had, and we're already looking at coming back next year.
