My partner and I both came away with bedbug bites after spending a week at this hotel, which really annoyed me. We paid over £800 for the stay, so I would have expected hygiene to be a higher priority. I know it’s a two star hotel and didn’t expect much, but that was upsetting.

The owner and staff made us feel very welcome, and the restaurant has an excellent range of food. The rates are very good too. If we're near Samoens again, we'd choose this hotel, and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We had a fantastic stay. It’s family run, very clean, comfortable and tidy, with delicious food and exceptional service. The lifts are only a short walk away, and it’s family friendly. We hope to come back in summer, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The restaurant serves nice, authentic Savoyard food, and the Vercland lift is very close by, which makes this a perfect spot for a ski trip. Breakfast could be better, perhaps with cheese, ham, and boiled or scrambled eggs.

The food was delicious and the staff were great. There’s storage for boards and boots, and the hotel is right by the Vercland lift. Absolutely fantastic. I’m looking forward to coming back.
