MGM Hôtels & Résidences – Hôtel Les Suites d’Alexane

Back for our second stay, and it was excellent again. The staff were brilliant, and Hugo made a fantastic whiskey sour. The spa was spacious and clean too.

A short walk gets you into town, and the location is fantastic. For skiing, though, you'll definitely need a car. The spa is spotless and has loads to use, from the sauna and steam room to the plunge pool, jacuzzi, and even a cool tropical shower. The rooms are nice, but our bathroom felt a bit grubby. The linen and towels also felt cheap for what they charge during peak season, and they strongly encourage you to reuse your towel throughout the stay, even at the spa. Breakfast was very poor and pricey, so I wouldn't bother with it. Still, it's one of the better hotels in town. The barman was friendly and La Chien was super cute. I'd definitely come back.

The staff made this lovely hotel feel especially welcoming, with Lidia standing out as professional, helpful, and good fun. Petula, the hotel's French Bulldog, was often around to greet people and get some affection, and one evening there was excellent jazz. The rooms are warm and elegant, with plenty of space and large, luxurious bathrooms. The hotel is thoughtfully designed for comfort as well as looks, and it's an easy walk to the main ski resort gondola. Facilities are great, including a spa big enough for 30+ people. A splendid stay, and we're looking forward to returning next year. Thank you, great job 👊😘

Lydia at reception really went above and beyond while we were there. The service was amazing, and the location was great too. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and spotless. Even Petula, the little hotel dog, was lovely. We had a brilliant stay and would thoroughly recommend it 😁
