Breakfast had lots of homemade things, and the hostess gave us such personal attention. Her kind compliments as we were leaving really lifted our spirits. We were welcomed so warmly, then had a four-course meal in the lovely garden. The room was spacious, and Clea had the biggest shower ever! We had a lovely stay. Treat yourself to a night here.

The garden feels like a park, with plenty of chairs and little spots to sit and unwind. Our room was clean and comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We had a really nice time here, and the dog was very friendly.

We really enjoyed breakfast outdoors. It was delicious and generous, and the coffee was very good. The room was clean and the setting pleasant. One small disappointment: we had asked for the set-menu dinner, but it wasn't provided, and we only found that out when we arrived. The amenities description didn't mention the bathtub, sauna, or motorcycle shelter. We could leave our motorcycles in a recess, but they were still out on the street. The macerating toilet is noisy, and sound carries badly from upstairs, so footsteps and voices from the room above can be heard.

The house is very quiet, and our room was spotless. At breakfast we had homemade yogurt and jam, along with honey from a local beekeeper. The owner made time to greet us warmly and gave us excellent advice while we were visiting the Saint Miguel salient, the World War I battle site. A wonderful place to stay.

Breakfast was very good and plentiful, and the lady who runs the gîte was welcoming. We could use a small fridge to keep fresh food. The toilet flush is very noisy, and the bedrooms aren't well soundproofed. Still, we had a very pleasant stay while spending our holidays in Lorraine with my boyfriend's family.
