Casa Fiumu Oso

It’s a lovely house in a great location, really. There’s parking right by the house, and the river is within walking distance, but you need a car. It works well for two families, up to eight people. The furnishings are showing their age, though, and we had quite a list of problems. The chairs on the terrace were damaged and mismatched, the bedroom lighting didn’t work, and the pool light was broken. The refrigerator by the pool was rusty. The dishwasher cover had come off and was loose, and almost all the drinking glasses looked “blank” and unappetizing. There were no towels for the separate toilet, and the towels and sheets were dirty and stained. The smoke detector in the drawer didn’t work, the door lock cover was missing, and the cutlery drawer was very dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The coffee machine was broken too. Caroline took care of the coffee machine right away, but couldn’t help with the other issues. We spoke to the landlord, but unfortunately got no help at all. It’s actually a beautiful house in a great location. Actually!
