Adonis Sanary Grand Hôtel des Bains

There’s no elevator, so getting large suitcases up to the top floor probably isn’t ideal. That room has just been renovated and feels brand new, though the shower area is small.

Parking was the best part for us. The room was only just adequate, and the notices on the walls made us feel more like intruders than guests. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the tiny shower left the floor wet. Our balcony might have been nice in summer, but the ashtray was full of soggy tobacco, which put us off. WiFi was advertised, but I had to dig into my phone’s advanced settings to force a connection, and then found it had no internet access. Locals seemed to support the restaurant, but we ate elsewhere, so I can’t comment on it. I’d try to avoid staying here again.

The staff were excellent and welcoming. The WiFi needs improvement because it was too slow for me to work efficiently. The shower also could use stronger pressure and a steadier temperature.

Friendly staff, and a great hotel for the price and location. I’d definitely stay again.
