O Petit Monde

The location is great, but that seems to be what this place depends on. There was no soap in the public restroom, which struck me as odd. At lunch, many of the meals weren't available, though I may have arrived at the wrong time since other people were getting food. I ordered the advertised milkshake and was given cold coffee instead. Pretty confusing. Maybe it's fine if you're only stopping for a drink.

We'd had great meals here last year and before, so it was disappointing to find things had changed. The restaurant itself and its setting are beautiful, but the service let us down. Our beer overflowed as the waitress set it down, and rather than apologize or clean it up, she called it a "factory mistake." The food didn't feel worth the price, and the glasses weren't proper either. I hope they take reviews seriously, because this place has a lovely location and we used to have such good experiences here.

We've enjoyed the food and cocktails both times we've been here, and the view is hard to beat. This visit we tried a new appetizer, asparagus with strawberry coulis and burrata, and it was delicious. I also love the truffle ravioli. A must-try in Sanary!

We used to love this restaurant, and the view is still great, but this visit was a complete mess. Our food arrived before the drinks and water we'd been waiting over 30 minutes for, and there was no silverware. The food was just okay, nothing special, and then the check took more than 20 minutes to arrive. With prices like these and such a lovely view, the service and food quality should be much better. I'm usually not one to leave a bad review, but I hope they turn things around.
