Sanary sur mer, Soleil et douceur III

The residence feels worn out, and there was barely any staff around. The pool wasn't exactly spotless either, though the free shuttle to the market on Wednesdays was a plus. We paid for a rental that said cleaning was included and the apartment would be disinfected before we arrived for health reasons. But the dishwasher was empty, even though the dishes were supposed to be in it after being disinfected. The floor was stained, the windows were in awful shape, and the toilet seemed to have only been rinsed with water. We ended up buying cleaning supplies and cleaning everything ourselves. I can't see how it got three stars. Maybe it was because of the pool.

The pool is spacious, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. But the apartment was run-down, with old furniture and broken windows that had to be shut with a screw. The busy road right outside was very loud through the uninsulated windows. On arrival, I wasn't sure the place had been cleaned. The floor was dirty, there was hair in the tub, and the terrace looked like it hadn't been swept in ages. We got a discount through my works council, thankfully, because I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price. I don't recommend it.

The team gave us a very warm welcome, and the pool was lovely. Our ground-floor apartment, number 1, was well laid out for 5 or 6 people, with a terrace just 10 meters from the pool. There were five of us and our Dalmatian, and we all had a great time. The price seemed a bit high at first, but a last-minute deal plus our employer benefits discount made it more reasonable. They returned our deposit when we left after the inventory check. Thanks to everyone, I loved it and highly recommend the place. We stayed August 4th to 11th, and got back today.

We arrived on August 1st for two weeks and found a dirty apartment with almost no equipment. The previous guests' dirty sheets were still there. The staff were unpleasant, everything felt outdated, and the loungers were packed close together with no respect for distancing. We'll share photos to show what we experienced. Avoid this place. I had to give it one star to post the review, otherwise it would be zero.
