It’s a lovely spot, and the staff are really helpful, but the arcades and the noise became unbearable. Music carries on until midnight every single night. Such a shame.

The lake nearby is beautiful, which helped make up for the rest. It’s very noisy until midnight, and the pool staff felt a bit militant. The place is basically run by kids. I wouldn’t stay again.

There’s plenty of entertainment here, with activities for kids, adult training sessions, and music and dancing most evenings. The pools are nice, though packed. The campsite itself was just okay. It’s huge, with lots of holiday homes, and the pitches are spacious, but there are no water points nearby, so you have to go to one of the two sanitary blocks. One route is lit, while the path to the nearer block is completely dark and could use lights. For a four-star campsite, the sanitary facilities fall short. Many locks are broken, toilet doors can be fiddly to open once locked, and some shower doors open from outside. Shower water is warm enough, but the water for washing dishes isn’t. Toilets and showers are reasonably clean, but the dishwashing area seems to get cleaned every other day, even though the posted chart says twice daily.

We had a great holiday. The site was clean and organised, and the staff were welcoming and quick to sort out any problems. Some of the facilities are looking worn and could do with repairs or replacement. It also needs a service point where motorhomes can empty grey water and refill their tanks.
