The garden was full of birdsong each morning, and breakfast was fresh and lovely, with the option to eat on the veranda and take in the view. Our room was spacious, clean, and decorated in a modern style, with a great outlook towards the viaduct and Sarlat. Franc and Nellie were attentive throughout and helped us figure out places to see in Dordogne. Thank you, tres bien.

A narrow lane leads up to this B&B on the edge of Sarlat, where there's plenty of parking. Our room was nicely decorated and had a small kitchen and a clean bathroom. The terrace view is amazing, and the owners are lovely and helpful. It made a great base for exploring the Dordogne region. Highly recommend.

The large cottage at La Bayardine worked really well as a midway stop on our euro tour. Since it was an apartment rental rather than a bed and breakfast, we had all the conveniences we needed, including the chance to do laundry and cook a couple of meals ourselves. A nice change from eating out every day.

Nadine and Franck were friendly hosts and gave me useful advice about getting around locally. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh baking and excellent coffee. I stayed in a clean, attractive room with a modern bathroom, and the shared kitchen, including a fridge, toaster oven and microwave, came in handy. The property has a lovely big deck at the back and nice views across the countryside. I was very glad I chose La Bayardine for my visit to the Dordogne, near downtown Sarlat-la-Canéda.

Franck and Nellie made us feel welcome and shared helpful local information. The gite had everything we needed for a great holiday, and it was perfect for us and our dog. It's also well placed near Sarlat-la-Canéda. La Bayerdine met our expectations and then some.
