Our host communicated well despite our lack of international cell service, and was great to deal with. The rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed, whether for a short stay or a longer one. The town is beautiful, and our room was perfectly located beneath the old church.

Customer service here was the worst I’ve experienced. I tried to be patient because running a business isn’t easy, but we emailed the owner to share our arrival time and got no reply. We arrived during the 5 to 7 check-in window, waited an hour, and left four messages without hearing back. After we contacted Booking.com, the owner finally called, and had an attitude. In the room there was no hair dryer and only one toilet roll for a week. The owner had suggested contacting her on WhatsApp, and I also emailed several times, but got no reply. Why are you in business?????

The owner gave us a warm welcome and plenty of tourist information. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, and perfectly placed in the popular tourist town of Sarlat, just steps from everything. Perfect!

The homemade food was excellent, with generous portions, just-right seasoning, and local dishes presented beautifully. We had a wonderful time in a lovely setting, surrounded by old stone walls and greenery. The welcome was warm, and the service was attentive, helpful, and quick to respond. Very pleased with this place, and highly recommend it.
