The food looked interesting, but we didn’t enjoy the meal. Service took ages, especially since we’d ordered the menu of the day. There were 20 minutes between the appetizers and main course, and our 10 year old had to sit watching us eat while waiting half an hour for her burger. We live nearby and know the area pretty well, but we’ve never had to wait this long. The waitress did her best, though she seemed inexperienced. We ordered a coffee that appeared on the bill but never came to the table. My meat was raw despite my asking for it medium-well, so I asked for it to go back on the grill. I can only hope nobody spit on it. They asked how everything was, but it would have helped more if they’d listened and looked us in the eye. I’m not sure whether he didn’t hear me or just ignored an answer he didn’t want. A shame.

The port view and jazz band made the atmosphere feel just right. The service was fantastic, attentive, and very friendly, and the food exceeded every expectation I had, both in its bold, complex flavours and lovely presentation. I can’t speak to the hotel, but the restaurant was probably my best dining experience in France.

We came back to this restaurant tonight, but the beef dish the new waiter recommended was so tough we couldn’t eat it. The bill was still over €100, and we’re too English to argue. I can’t recommend it anymore. Such a shame, because it had been so good, and the waitress earlier this week was lovely.

We found this place on a trip and had a wonderful time. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the food was excellent. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you very much!

Our waiter was super friendly and spoke good English. We enjoyed the excellent food, which was decent value for money, and the location right on the waterfront was lovely.
