The location is great, right in the town centre, and the on-site restaurant has a fabulous setting with views over the surrounding hills. The service was friendly and there are lockers. The rooms are basic, a bit dated, and have zero amenities.

This old building has plenty of charm and sits in part of the old town. The room was small but very clean, with a very good en-suite. Staff were helpful when we checked in late. It's brilliant for cyclists, with room to keep two bikes in the room out there is a bike store. The restaurant is in a separate building and has a wonderful terrace. Breakfast was very good.

The view is belle and the place was kept clean, but there was no hot water during my stay. Maybe it was just that week. WiFi only worked for me in the hallway, and there was no reception or anyone around to raise either problem with. There wasn't much space for clothes, either. The bathroom would be fine if it had hot water. Those two fixes, hot water and internet, would bring my rating up to a 4.

I enjoyed waking up to that amazing view. The room and bed were comfortable, too. I stayed for two nights, though, and ran out of toilet paper on the second one, so I can't give it five stars.
