Charm in Provence

There were 10 of us, grandparents, children, and grandchildren, and everyone had a great time. The village is very quiet and has no shops, though there's a very good restaurant overlooking it. The house had everything we could want, inside and out. We especially liked the tasteful decor, games for the children, and lovely surrounding area. The beautiful garden has a lovely pool and lots of comfortable places to sit. A wonderful spot for a relaxing holiday. We'll be back!

We took our small children on a canoe trip, and there are plenty of other excursions and places to eat nearby. The house sleeps 13 and is thoughtfully furnished, both attractive and practical. There's lots of outdoor space for family meals, conversation, swimming, and pétanque, while the kitchen, laundry room, and refrigerators are equipped for a large group. Everything was clean, well cared for, and just as shown in the owners' photos.

Disappointing for the price We spent a week here during the Pentecost holidays, a group of 8 across 3 generations. The photos make the property look lovely and well kept, but we found it somewhat run-down and not very clean. The supposed charm felt more like a jumble of mismatched things, from the dishes and kitchen tools to the clutter in the pool house. Cupboards and drawers were packed haphazardly, and some items were dirty. The towels smelled musty, so we had to wash them. The coffee machine was broken, and the replacement the owner brought on day three was broken too. The dishwasher stopped working on the first weekend and wasn't fixed until Monday. The hammocks shown online were just old, frayed ropes hanging loosely between the trees. A car tire was split in half and left hanging there. There were lots of places to sit, but some were in full sun without parasols. The pool area had no shade either, and the trees shown in the pictures are gone. It's a shame, because the property has potential with proper upkeep. For this price, it was simply disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Isabelle & Fabrice were so hospitable, thank you. We had a relaxing weekend with friends in this magnificent, peaceful house, with its terraced garden. I highly recommend it.
