The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Le Londres, Saumur

The air conditioning never got quite cool enough, my only small gripe. We had the most basic room, which was lovely but compact, and it felt like great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s in a beautiful town and the location is great, with on-site parking available by arrangement.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we found the hotel stylish and good value. Our clean room had its own theme, “coral.” The shower area was good, though the toilet sat in a very cramped cupboard. Breakfast was excellent and good value too, and the pre-booked parking space felt very secure. A lift is due to be installed to make getting to the bedrooms easier. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The manager greeted us so warmly and took care of our requests, making sure we were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay during our bike trip through Saumur. The rooms were spacious, spotless and quiet. We’d definitely return.

We’d stay here again next time we’re in the Loire Valley. It’s right in the town center and only a one-minute walk from the river, with great value for money. The room for one person was spacious and well lit, air conditioned, and had a tea and coffee maker. The staff were wonderfully friendly. There’s free secure parking for cycles, but no lift. We stayed for one night.
