The pool area was so lovely that we spent ages there, and we’d happily come back. The place itself is stunning, with really stylish decor and a great location. Lee kept communication easy, and Darren was such a wonderful host. He made the stay memorable.

Lee and Mike are brilliant hosts, and a stay at the 1500 is just the thing for switching off and forgetting everything else. It was amazing from start to finish, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. I can’t think of a better place around here for a perfect stay.

We felt really lucky to have stayed here. Lee and Mike took such care of us, from breakfast to all the little details that made everything feel just right. We spent two nights and had a sensational time. Mickey & Sue. Already looking forward to coming back.

Mike cooked the evening meals and Lee served them, and they were exceptional. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for either of them. The place has loads of character, with a warm, relaxing old-world feel that Lee and Mike have made into a superb atmosphere. We’ll definitely return.
