Laurence, the property manager, was friendly and helpful. I was two hours late, but she waited for me and told me where to find the best restaurants in the area. This is more of an apartment than a hotel, with a great room and a complete kitchen. I plan to stay here whenever I’m in town. Great place!

The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The comfortable apartment has high-quality furnishings and bedding, and it’s opposite the Rohan Palace in the heart of the city center. All the shops are just steps away. You can walk along the canal and explore the heritage of Saverne and the surrounding area.

We rented the apartment as four people and were completely happy with it. Its location is perfect, right by the castle, and you can start hikes from there. The kitchen is very well equipped, with oil, vinegar and spices provided. We found the counter especially sociable, a great spot to eat and chat. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The location was superb, right on Saverne’s town square, with a view of the castle and Christmas tree. We loved the little balcony too. I rented the studio and found it very nice, just as pictured. I couldn’t give it five stars because a nearby bar and shop were excessively noisy on Saturday night, well past 1:30 am. Luckily it was winter and we could keep the windows closed.
