After a relaxing stop and one of the best breakfasts we've ever had, we were glad we'd stayed here. The host made us feel "cher" as we passed through on our way south, just as the name promises. Our room worked well for two adults and two kids overnight. Free parking is across the street, if you're lucky enough to find a space, and there's a pleasant walk by the river. The shared dining room has lovely pictures of the famous chateaux of the Loire, and the prettiest garden is just a little too far to walk to. Thank you!

After visiting Villlandry, we spent a peaceful night in a lovely spot right by the Cher. The room was clean, quiet, and very nicely decorated, and we were welcomed warmly. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and served with kindness. We'd recommend this well located guest room.

We came to Le Cher Passant for a sunny weekend in the region and had a wonderful time. The welcome was incredibly warm, and we loved the authentic, tasteful decor. Breakfast was fresh and traditional, and exceeded what we expected. It was peaceful at night, yet only a 20-minute drive from Tours.

We got by despite Mr. Bruno speaking only a little English, and he was friendly and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated and the location was quiet. Breakfast was generous, made with excellent, authentic ingredients, and served in a lovely inner courtyard. The WiFi was good. Mr. Bruno was happy to suggest places for lunch or dinner, as well as nearby castles.

Savonnières is a pretty village with plenty nearby: a minimarket, excellent bakery, little beach, tobacconist, bank, and even a guinguette by the river. We enjoyed a very pleasant stop here. The house is right on the Cher, with a beautiful view from the rooms. Our room and bathroom were impeccable, and the hosts were very kind, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast on the patio was very pleasant, and very good.
