You feel watched and limited in what you can do there. Even turning on the outside light in the evening meant being asked to switch it off, and using electrical appliances like raclette grills was forbidden because the owner wanted to save electricity. The radiators couldn't be turned above 4 because she'd blocked them. The apartment itself was far from ideal: dirty, with cobwebs and food on the floor, among other things, and damp mattresses in the bedrooms.

The children and adults both loved being so close to the animals, and the cottage was really lovely. The setting is magnificent. Great for groups, highly recommended!

Magical place. The cat comes over to say hello, and so does the goat. To greet the horses and ponies, you just walk 10m... it's great!
