The food was the standout for me, excellent fine dining with a strong Alsatian influence and one of the best values in Alsace. The hotel is away from the main tourist villages, with clean, pleasant rooms, friendly staff and excellent service.

The exterior, beside a roundabout on the edge of town, doesn’t prepare you for the warm family welcome inside. We chose the chef’s suggestion, a light, simple and delicious three-course meal. The food was thoughtful and well balanced, and the room was pleasant, simple and spacious. Breakfast was fresh and varied. A rare find, highly recommended.

From the room window, I enjoyed a beautiful view of the ancient ruins of Ramstein Castle. The hotel also has shops nearby and many restaurants within walking distance, with very reasonable prices and an excellent variety of food. The cuisine was excellent, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I liked everything very much and would certainly stay here again if I’m in the area.

On our walk through the Vosges, we’ve found Wi-Fi at some hotels to be distinctly poor, but it was very good here. The hotel was very good overall, with friendly, wonderful staff, good food and good facilities.
