Chalet Des Sangliers

Kat and Stu looked after us so well, with great food, everything we needed, and a chalet that had all we could ask for. We were skiing for a week and I’d initially worried it was a bit far from the slopes, but getting to the funicular every day was quick and easy. Hopefully we’ll be back to Les Arcs soon and stay here again.

The moment we arrived, my friends and I felt right at home. We were here for a motorcycle holiday, and the Chalet is absolutely incredible. Kat and Stu were wonderful hosts and did everything they could for us. I really hope I can stay here again.

Kat and Stu were brilliant hosts for our mountain biking holiday. Stu even invited us along for a ride and showed us loads of great trails.

Kat and Stu were lovely, helpful hosts who knew the area well. The food was amazing, with generous servings and a good mix of dishes, including cheese fondue, paella and homemade wood-fired pizzas from the garden oven. The sauna and hot tub were a bonus. The chalet was perfect for a summer week of different sports. It’s in a quiet spot on the edge of Bourg, about a 15-minute walk by the lake or river to the town centre and five minutes from the supermarket and Intersport shop. The funicular takes just seven minutes to get up the mountain. Our bedroom was the nicest we’ve had in a chalet, with a huge, comfortable super king bed, a TV and plenty of room. The bathroom had been recently redone and had a nice, powerful shower. There was lots of space in the shared areas, and the pool table was fun. We’d love to come back in winter too.
