Les Balcons du Molliebon

The owners are terrific hosts. They’re there if you need help, while still giving you all the privacy you want. The atmosphere is so relaxing, with amazing views and cosy apartments or spacious, luxurious, authentic rooms. It’s close to two ski areas, adventurous activities and lots of hiking trails, so it’s a great place to stay all year round. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had three days in the Gite, which had a large room, a kitchen and a corner bath. We were lucky it was free at short notice. It was a wonderful place, clean, calm and sophisticated, but still felt like home. From there, we watched clouds move through the valley below and enjoyed great views over Bourg St Maurice. Chris and Fred were lovely hosts and suggested walking routes up and down the mountain. We also drove up to the Col Petit St Bernard, which had just opened. One night, they served us a fantastic home-cooked meal in our room. A brilliant stay, and we’d highly recommend it.

EXCELLENT! We stayed in Molliebon for three nights and used two different rooms or apartments. Both were cosy and nicely decorated. There were two couples travelling by motorcycle, but the places would work well for families too. The apartment with the kitchen was REALLY NICE, and we were so impressed we could have lived there for a whole month, if only we had that many holidays. It had everything we needed for cooking, and both places were perfectly clean. The views were lovely and made it easy to relax peacefully. The pool was perfect on hot summer days, and the internet worked well enough for me to work from home without problems. Chris and Fred were friendly and kind. The meals they served were GREAT and really, REALLY tasty. They even helped us find a mechanic and called the shop directly in French. Their two cats were very sweet and friendly too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Le Molliebon. You won’t regret staying there! Thanks so much, Chris and Fred, for making us feel at home. We wish you all the best, and maybe we’ll see you again someday!

I stayed for two days, and it was the most peaceful experience I’ve ever had. The service was excellent and so was the overall experience and facilities. You really get more than you pay for.
